This library with the jutting out pods looks like books sticking out on a shelf. I found this when looking for a photo from flickr to add to my blog. I love the colour of the windows in the pods. These would make great areas for study desks or sitting and reading a mag. or newspaper.

Novice or Expert?

Wow, I filled in the survey and realised I am a novice to a number of the Web2 areas. I hope to become an expert or at least part way expert soon.

First entry Week 1

Finally, I have found the time to start my test drive!!! I am going to make a huge effort to keep up with completing the task each fortnight. Last year I began the 23 things and somehow just didn't manage to get through the whole lot because I was too busy. No excuses this time!!! I am not going to let that happen again as I actually really enjoyed learning how to use Web2.
I know it is essential that as library staff we stay up-to-date and preferably ahead of our customers needs and wants.

I am really glad SLQ have decided to offer this training and look forward to the coming weeks.
